David Huycke

(Belgian b.1967)

David Huycke works in a variety of mediums but is best known for his innovative approach to metalwork. His pieces explore cosmic themes and he focuses on the use of granulation in larger sculptural silverwares.

Huycke lives and works in Belgium, and is a professor at the School of Arts in Hasselt. He was a Loewe Craft Prize finalist in 2017, and his works are held in a number of public collections worldwide.
