Marijke Part of the Panel Discussing Collecting Contemporary Ceramics

Marijke is looking forward to an evening at "Material: Earth", a major new exhibition celebrating the use of clay in contemporary art. The event is being organised and hosted at the Messum’s pioneering multi-purpose gallery and arts centre in Wiltshire. The exhibition aims to illustrate "how since the 1970’s there has been a quiet but steady progression in the use of ceramics away from studio pottery towards the challenging and immersive arena of contemporary art."

14 September 2016 at J&J Rawlin's exhibition 'Compass Points'

We would like to extend an invitation to J&J Rawlin's 'Compass Points: Contemporary Ceramics from the Four Corners of England', their second selling exhibition of Contemporary Ceramics in Aldeburgh, Suffolk as part of the High Tide Festival.

Marijke will be in attendance on Wednesday 14th September, holding a 'Valuation and Consignment Day', offering a free valuation service.

Maak is pleased to present their latest Contemporary Ceramics auction of studio pottery and contemporary ceramic art which is now previewing online. All the artworks in the auction will be on view at the Royal Opera Arcade Gallery, 5 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 4UY from 27 to 30 October 2014.

The auction will provide another opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts of studio ceramics to see and acquire works by the leading names in British and International Studio Ceramics. The October auction includes an edited selection from a substantial German private collection.
