Earthenware, pale yellow glaze with painted design of a stork amongst Japanese style flora and fauna with green inlaid designs, with twisting handles, incised signature and date

H 29.5cm, W 27.2cm, D 15.5cm

PROVENANCE: Private Collection, Herefordshire. EXHIBITED: 'The Work of Alison Britton', Solo Exhibition, Crafts Council, London 1979 where it was acquired by the current owner.

CONDITION: One tiny loss of inlay, however it is not possible to determine whether this occurred as part of or after the making. Otherwise in perfect condition with no further damage or restoration
